4 self portraits

Well this project for me was very difficult, because I have not taken accual pictures since the beginning of the 2nd semester in school. But when I heard that this was going to be our final project I was nerous because it was worth so much of our grade, and I thought that it was going to be very hard to make 4 portrait pictures using element, our prop, the rule of thirds, and light for pictures.Well for my prop picture I was did good for my prop because I love playing musical instruments and it shows the side of me i love. For my light picture I could have made it better with the way the light was placed, and I could have made a more enjoyable facial expression then i did. For my element it was great the way I had made it look like I was sad in jail. The lines were set up good with the way my face was positioned. Finally for my rule of thirds picture I like the way this was set up, I mean the light was good not to dark or not to bright. I was positioned in a posture in this picture. it was a great distance I love the way this picture turned out.
Well for my composition I was aiming for more on all my pictures except the rule of thirds. First with my prop picture I wanted to set up my drums to make it have more feeling to it rather then it being so plain, and I also wanted to set it up better with the lighting because in my photogragh there is no real value I mean the colors of the black and gray are good but I was aiming for more brighter colors with this picture. Then for my light picture was really nothing I was aiming for It did not look right with the balck round now that I look at it, it just looks like a plain picture that was set up in 2 minutes but I accually tried to set this picture up for about ten minutes. If I could go back I would really change the back round and put a new facial expression. For my rule of thirds picture I love thi way this one came out. I like the way the colors go when I was dressed nice it just fits the way the picture was made. I love evrything about this picture. For my last picture I like the way this was compositionally set up with the bars and me behind them. but it was not the lighting i was really going for I was aiming for a more darker setting to go my mood other then that it was a good photograph.
Well like I said all my photographs turned out ok but they mostly all needed better lighting in the photos, more better compositional set up. I think i put effort but not to the point where the pictures turned out perfect. for my rule of thirds I would change nothing ts a perfect picture. The prop picture i would change the backround along with the lighting.For my element picture I would change the lighting and position it way better then it was set up. Finally for my light picture I would change the way i was set up in it, the light was ok but I could have put more effort in this one.
well overall i did pretty good. with about 3 of these accual photos. but like i said i would change these photos if i got to do the assignment. i would change them the way I wanted them to come out they would have been better all the way. but overall this was a good assignment , and i think i can learn more from this.
